Join us to honour National Indigenous Peoples Day with Barrie Dan and Clara John, two beloved Lil'wat Elders, and Tina Pashumati James, who has been a loyal part of Barrie and Clara’s chosen family for the past 16 years. This is a sacred afternoon of sharing stories and songs from their ancestors, prayer and drumming to honour the rich and diverse cultures, voices, experiences and histories. This special ceremony also welcomes the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, which has always been important celebration among the First Nations People.
All proceeds from this gathering will be donated directly to the Lil'wat Elders.
