This 2-night journey is one of silent introspection and awakening. It’s an opportunity to purify the mind and body through seated meditation practices, conscious breath, limiting food intake, removing digital distractions, sitting with like-minded community, and attuning to the silence—all in an effort to deeply hear the call of the heart. Fasting has been traditionally used by many cultures as a method of purifying the physical body in order to go deeper into spiritual practice. This shift in eating style takes energy from digesting and channels it into your practice and contemplation. It also provides a chance to reflect on your habits.
What to expect: We will greet each other the first night before moving into silence. You will start each day with a simple, easy-to-digest breakfast and encouraged to hydrate and move gently throughout the day before ending with a light evening snack. On the last day, we will break our silence and share our experience before returning home.
