Join us for the MAKING TIME RETREAT from November 25-29, 2024, nestled in the enchanting winter forest on the ancestral territory of Nexwlélexwm (Bowen Island, BC), Canada. This 5-day, 4-night retreat is a unique blend of restorative practices, spellcasting, and Taoist wisdom, offering a space to reflect, envision, and time craft according to your Chinese astrological elements.
Our greatest emergence is through our preparation.
As we approach the end of 2024, this retreat is your opportunity to pause, rest, and reflect. Led by Mimi Young, a Taiwanese Canadian animist spirit medium, this holistic retreat and restful getaway at NECTAR RETREAT CENTRE is designed for entrepreneurs, creatives, mystics, and those seeking a regenerative approach to goal-setting and planning.

OPTIONAL PRIVATE SESSIONS
Opportunities to work privately with Mimi as additional bookings at a preferred rate of $250 a session (regularly $325) while on the retreat, including SHAMANIC READINGS, FIVE ELEMENTS ZODIAC READINGS, and PRIVATE MENTORSHIP SESSIONS are available, though limited. WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
This retreat does not include transportation to or from the venue; attendees are responsible for their own transportation. Ferry schedules can be found on BC Ferries’ website TO BOWEN, and returning TO VANCOUVER. It is advised to check BCFERRIES.COM frequently as the retreat approaches as BC Ferries update their schedules regularly. *Complete list of materials will be provided upon sign up for the retreat.

MEET YOUR FACILITATOR
Mimi Young is a Taiwanese Canadian animist spirit medium (modern Tongji) and the founder of Ceremonie, an esoteric brand focused on resourcing individuals seeking greater intuition and creative possibilities for beginnings, endings, and the liminal. In ancient Chinese traditions, this multi-disciplinary metaphysical practice is called 巫 – Wu or Wuism.
Mimi blends animist magick with Taoist-rooted spirituality, offering divination and Chinese astrology, courses and retreats in psychic development and metaphysical spellwork, and occultic Skin and Aura care for inner transformation and outer change—all from an animist perspective, calling ourselves out of the past and future to the present moment with courage and compassion.
She collaborates with brands such as goop and the Salem Witch Festival, and is also a writer, designer, and stylist. Ceremonie serves a global community, while remaining rooted in decolonizing perspectives and intersectionality.

Notes: We encourage guests choosing this lodging option to book with friends. Please also note one of the beds is located in the cottage’s loft; the guest staying in the loft must have full mobility and is comfortable going up and down a ladder. Please indicate at the time of registration if you are not comfortable with sleeping in the loft.
