ABOUT THE HOST
Sarah began her yoga journey in 2009. She completed her 200hr certification with Pranalife Yoga in 2015 and has since become certified in Restorative Yoga, Pilates, and Barre. Sarah believes that yoga is first and foremost a practice of the mind; she has experienced this first-hand with personal struggles through anxiety and depression. She is a firm believer in the power of mindfulness and meditation, and that the practice of yoga is a tool for self-care. You can expect to have fun in her classes and explore playful creative movements that induce an experience of personal spiritual growth. With a strong and diverse personal practice, Sarah motivates her students to challenge themselves yet stay curious to the movements of the human body.
Sarah moved to Bowen in 2018 from her hometown of Waterloo, Ontario, and has fallen in love with West Coast living. She lives with her husband, dog, two cats, and three ducks! You can often find her outside exploring the trails, enjoying coffee at Tell Your Friends Cafe, and teaching Yoga on the Pier in the warmer months.
