We are pleased to host this 5-week offering led by Dominique Lando.
Event Overview:
October 6 - November 10 (no class November 3)
In this 5 week introduction, there will be a mix of didactic learning, experiential processes, demonstrations and practice. We will learn basic skills of the Hakomi Method to support a person to explore and deepen into their inner world.
We will begin by going over some foundational principles of Hakomi and the therapeutic relationship. Students will practice applications of mindfulness for inner exploration and follow with essential skills for listening, contacting and welcoming the unconscious (Including the body). Following this we will then build on these skills and learn techniques to support a person as they deepen toward the core material that unconsciously organizes how they perceive and live their life.
Classes will involve practice of the Hakomi Method for assisted self-study. This class is meant for people with an interest in Somatic Psychotherapy and how to powerfully deepen self-exploration assisted by another person.
